We are searching for speakers that may never have considered WordCamp Miami before. They don’t have to be experts on WordPress – just be able to talk about what they know. We want to spread the word and invite everyone to WordCamp Miami in March 24-27 so please help us spread the word!

Would like to see a comprehensive look at all the security plugins that have popped up. What do we need to do for security, and how do these plugins and services help? Wordfence, Sucuri, iThemes are some names off the top of my head, but there are others popping up every day. Either separate or in conjunction, would like to see a presentation of security best practices – the basic ones that everyone should be using, plus anything extra that should be done to protect an eCommerce site or one that collects other types of PII. I attended Miami last year and it was a great experience – have the 2017 dates on my calendar!
